Is there any difference between two wild pokemon of same level?

Like in stats or other stuff? I know they have different "nature". But can the wild pokemon you caught, grow up to be different? If so, how do you decide which wild pokemon you should catch? New to pokemon, sorry if this sounds like a stupid question?

Yes, stats are determined by ivs, evs and nature.

How do I check for IV's and EV's? Do I just catch two pokemon and compare their stats? And how does nature affect it, is their something like good and bad natures?

Pokemon stats have a buff called iv, it is a buff to their inherent stats and can be from 0(no buff) to 31(max buff). The ivs are randomly generated as a way to make each Pokemon more "unique" you can check them online via an iv calculator but most games now have a way to check them in game now. Sadly you can also use something called hypertraining in the new games to automatically set any pokemons IVs to max for competitive purposes, so they are less big of a deal then they used to be.

Evs are effort values, they get that via training with you against other pokemon or being given certain items like protein or iron. the max evs a stat can have is 252 the max evs you can have over all is 510.

No, you only have 510 evs to work with and only a max 252 evs can go into a single stat

Example: 255 atk / 255 speed. That's all your EVs used up. 255+255=510. So yeah you can only max out 2 stats. Not ideal for all Pokemon.

Or 170 HP / 170 Defense / 170 Speed. They all add up to 510.

Depends- which game are you playing? In earlier gens it was pretty hard to tell, later gens had in-game NPCs and such that would tell you. And Gen 8, I believe they lay it all out for you on thr stat screen.

The difference between any given wild pokemon of the same species and level is very minor. You do not need to worry about it when playing through the games. It will only become relevant when you are playing competitively against other players.

Yes, there are differences between IVs, Natures, and Abilities. IVs are random 0-31 values for each stat that effect how high/low each stat leans. Natures each boost one stat and pull down another, unless it’s a neutral nature. Most Pokémon can randomly have one of two abilities. But if you’re only concerned with the single player campaign you don’t need to worry about it.

Also keep in mind that any EV number that isn't divisible by 4 is a waste because 4 EV's = 1 stat point at level 100.
