Not gonna matter when the enemy Pokemon all have 1-3 IVs in each stat, 0 EVs and have cool moves like Tackle, Fire Spin, Dig and maybe Dynamic Punch if you're lucky.

Unironically first thing that seems good in gen 8 to me.

Like seriously, if you can play and complete DLCs before postgame, that will at least fill the hole in the rest of the game and allow more team variaties during playthrough.

If you delete your savefile and start a new playthrough you have to buy the DLC again, because it's linked to your current savefile

You are lying. I bought the DLC and all of my three save-files (one for renaming japanese pokemons and one my sister uses) got access to the DLC instantly.

The DLC, when bought, is valid for the entire system.

It's probably the same coding used for open battle tower matches. Expect every Pokemon you meet, regardless of the wild or trainer matches, to just be the same level as strongest pokemon
Would be really cool if they did more but I've learned having outright negative expectations is the best way to approach any new news of this franchise

You're paraphrasing, IGN got half an hour of and confirmed that levels will scale, and with level 100s on your team. That's not the same as stating the enemy mons will scale to level 100 if you have level 100s on your team.

Final fantasy 8 implemented level scaling very poorly. It created a situation where your junctions are the only thing that matters. Leveling up is always a bad thing in final fantasy 8 Since it means the enemy to get stronger and give more EXP, which leads to more levels

That would explain why Piers was so against dynamaxing his pokemon. However, it's also selfish, since it's obviously in Spikemuth's best interest to ban dynamaxing, since they can't do it, so having it banned would level the playing field with other cities.
