I found it super odd that it literally said nothing and there was absolutely no introduction to it.

Its weird because GF went full tilt with hand holding and unnecessary tutorials and exhibitions with this game, but there is literally no pomp or circumstance for this thing.

I can't imagine all the questions kids, newcommers, and returning folk who skipped last gen had.
Like:
Does everyone in Galar have a Rotom/Rotom phone?
Did I miss a cutscene when I got it?
Why is this phone suddenly floating?
Why is my phone suddenly floating?
Why is there a Rotom face on my pokedex?

It would have taken 10 seconds of animation and two lines to showcase it a little more. Also just a tiny bit of talking would have been fine.

But the most shocking thing is that GF actually took feedback for once and made a change!!!
