There's no way for physical copies to leak, meaning either someone who worked on it would need to leak it (which has proven to be super risky after TCPi pursued legal action over the SwSh leaks) or someone with early access (like IGN) would need to leak and risk losing their early access.

This. Pokemon game leaks are pretty much always someone who scored an early physical copy, usually from a mom and pop vidya shop, but without that option, it ain't happening.
