Zacian and Zamazenta had alternate forms, and Urshifu is confirmed to have alternate forms, so it stands to reason that the next mascot for this game will have an alternate form too. Calyrex looks the most “incomplete” of the SS mascots as well, plus with his closed bulb head they can really do anything with the design once the bulb opens. Calyrex is just as blatant about having a stronger alt form as Kyurem, Zygarde and Necrozma were.
