We all have that same attachment. But some of us recognize the worsening quality of the games. You say to not pay any attention or think about it, but we have standards. We think critically.
This isn't like the stupid childish criticisms I saw growing up when Pokémon became uncool, where they picked the low hanging fruit like what Pokémon looked like or that it'sthe same game every time. We're talking about the game design and overall content being fundamentally worse and/or lesser than the majority of previous installments. This is route design, player agency, lack of difficulty, lack of options, cutting corners, shortening development times while removing break years despite the fact that more time and work should be going into the development side of things.
You act like we don't care about Pokémon, that we aren't real fans because we don't instantly accept everything they put out without thinking. We're complaining BECAUSE we care so much.
