people actually dont know what remake means, remake is for games that didnt age well in things such as graphics, glitches, battling system,etc. DPPt is a NDS game, not a gameboy one
screencap this, if tomorrow they announce a new main series game or something related, it is gonna be a new DLC (for swsh or lgpe), but obviously not DPPt remakes, not even "lets go to johto" (LGPE were necesary games, for example to test how an RPG like pokemon could run on the nintendo switch and to introduce GO players to the mainline pokemon games, but they dont need all those things anymore so "lets go to johto" probably not happening)
