it means that the pokemon episodes won't air on TV (at least in english, idk about everywhere else not Japan and the USA) and the "only" way to watch it is to have netflix, because it premiers on netflix. 4 or 6 months worth of episodes released at a time (because poeple like to binge watch according to studies or something, so no more weekly episodes are out).
netflix is the only "channel" to have the newest pokemon series, so that is what they meant by that because they get the exclusive rights to air it.
