Just a reminder on how shitty this game looks.
The fucking SHADOW of the berry tree is baked in. Even when the tree is FULLY unrendered, the shadow stays.

How do you fuck that up?

Guess what, your favorite games all have shit like this in them too. That's how games are made.

This reminds me of the people who complained about trains in Fallout being an NPC with a train for a head that runs under the ground. Sure it looks silly when you see the model but did you ever notice while playing? Of course not, because it looks the same as if the train was actually moving and is therefore good design and takes a lot less development time than doing it "for real".

It's called Ambient Occlusion, and it's done to make the game more stable by not dynamically rendering shadows. Most games use it, even ones with raytracing
