If you want to obtain the Diploma in gen III but don't have LeafGreen, the only way for you to get it is by hacking or trading Slowpoke in. That's the only Pokemon needed for the Diploma that can only be found in one gen III game.

Grass is the weakest type in terms of gym leader/E4 usage.
It has no E4 specialist, and no gym leader past the fourth ever specializes in it.
Electric had Volkner (8th)
Normal had Norman (5th)
Fairy had Valarie (6th)

Karate Chop was a normal type in Gen 1 but changed to Fighting type in Gen 2. Despite this, the moves Mega Punch and Mega Kick are still Normal type.

In SM Bulbasaur and Chespin both learned Vine Whip twice (instead of Leech Seed and Tackle respectively), it got fixed for Bulbasaur in USUM but not for Chespin.

In Gen I Beedrill and Butterfree don't learn any of their pre-evos moves from level. So even if you cheated one in at lvl 1 it wouldn't learn anything until lvl 10.

If you count how the Gen 5-7 Elite 4 are typically introduced, Drasna would be the 4th Elite 4 member, therefore making it that all Dragon type trainers are either the 8th Gym Leader or the last Elite 4 member. Drayden still follows this despite getting dropped to 7th in B2W2.

In gen4 you could not nickname your pokemon "Bulbasaur" because of a naming filter. As a result you could also not search for Bulbasaur on GTS until a patch that got rid of the filter. You still could not nickname any Pokemon bulbasaur, however.

FRLG Giovanni had two Rhyhorn instead of the one Rhyhorn and one Rhydon RB Giovanni has while in LGPE he drops the Rhyhorn and HGSS Clair adds an extra Dragonair compared to GSC Clair.
