After reaching a certain point in the DLC, you can have a Pokemon following you. It looks shit, though, GF must have set the wrong parameter by accident and never bothered or noticed to fix it in time.

What kills me is that those are the same models as gamefreak uses, they are just animated, scaled, and color saturated correctly this time. It's literally just a matter of effort.

In the new Sword and Shield DLC the pokemon that is on top of your party follow you around, the thing is that you can only do that in the DLC area and most pokemons movement are slow as fuck (even for those with high speed stats)

With how open and nice it looked i half expected a new mainline game all together, then i saw the rails and guy getting ready to take pictures and was a bit disappointed.
I am still happy for snap but it will be hard if the next mainline game doesn’t at least try to look this good and focused without all the janky visuals and pop ins of sword and shield.
