Grass/Dark isn't that bad of a type. Bugs are worse than ever, so its 4x weakness isn't that bad.
It's a better version of Grass/Psychic, a la Celebi. Celebi was considered a good defensive Pokemon for a long time, and even now is a solid UU Pokemon. Zarude has a better typing and better stat spread, so I doubt it'd drop past UU either.
