Come on dude, lets be real - its a straight line beyond the Farfetched puzzle with the one "interesting path off" leading to the guy on the ledge with Headbutt. Still like the area but lets not go crazy here.

It's a straight line that "branches" into two circles and takes like a minute to explore the whole thing. The forest leading up to Ballonea has better atmosphere and design.

You can't just pretend Celebi and Headbutt don't exist. Celebi wasn't accessible for most of us until the HGSS event, but Headbutt was a new method of finding Pokémon. If you were lucky like I was as a kid, you got that cool ass Bug/Fighting beetle Pokémon from the anime. It was also optional, incentivising the player to roam the entire area for things you might miss. It was good.

Because the region map and progression is *technically* linear. Nevermind the fact that there are many side areas to explore with things to do on your journey.

I said it was a nice area, but that doesn't mean you have to lie about it and say it has "interesting paths off".

Personally I think Pinwheel Forest is the pinnacle of Pokemon forests.
