Demon whispering and incredibly flexible stat distribution to the main character are the biggest culprits.
There is no difficulty after Naraku if you're decent at smt even the DLC super bosses are piss easy.
Naraku is only hard because of it being early game so you don't have access to a lot of stuff.
The new demons and redesigns are terrible.
The story and characters become complete garbage after the part written by Kazuma Kaneko.
Smt IV A is the same other then far worse characters and story but less shit gameplay.
Heck I even think smt 3 is over rated.
I like smt 1/ 2 and strange journey because of the atmosphere and writing none of the other main games capture the same feelings.
Smt IV the worst main line game my opinion that's not the worst smt.
Because shit like ronde and dx2 exist.
