I've come to the conclusion that 3D was a mistake, is the main reason why Pokemon started going downhill, and is the reason why Pokemon will never be good again. It needs to go back to 2D.
I mean they could also give it to another developer but Game Freak isn't going to do that unless they get a HUGE payout and considering the cash cow Pokemon is that payout would have to be unreasonably high so that's not going to happen
