>>43917704Not entirely true. They're not random, there is a logic to it based on palettes and shit, it's why so many blue water types end up magenta.
They definitely intervened on a couple of them though, Gyarados should be another one of those magenta water types, so that was almost certainly tampered with. Charizard is also probably manufactured on account of having Gen 2 art of it Black....back when the Shiny in game was Purple.
