If they did it'd be cool if they

And the fire would really need to play up the Bear parts to look different from Typlosion line. So a 2 Line would have to go hard on Plesiosaur aspects. Longer necks, maybe new color

No you dipy fuck, the reason a design gets scrapped is the team feel it doesn't fit the region they created of the ethos they're going for. If it can be re-used it gets held back and adapted/adjusted for a new region (Leafeon in Gen II waiting till IV, Shellos being kept out of Hoenn for Sinnoh). The fact te haven't used ANY beta designs at this stage can only mean they've admitted the designs will never fit into the pokémon world as they'd created it, so no Gen II beta design will ever be real, if it hasn't already been used.

Beta water starter is basically popplio. Same basic concept anyway.

Honoguma was refined into Teddiursa. Maybe we'll get a fire Ursaring variant someday that draws on the original design. Hopefully.

Lil tiger and wolfman deserve to be real mons.

Beta wooper obv became Mudkip, and Kotora became Spheal too.

They did re-do a lot of the ideas.

I think they were scrapped in favor of Sneasel line because they create a perpetual continuity error - which pokemon pelt is that? Do pokemon kill other pokemon, skin them and wear it? What does it look like without the pelt? Does this one particular family of pokemon only hunt for this one specific specie?

Too dark of a concept and too many plotholes.
