There are tons of RPGs with great graphics and yet they think SWSH looks bad just because it's RPG, unlike Snap.

Why would it being on rails matter when you still have full camera control? They have to render the same amount of shit.
If anything, being a camera game, the draw distance (which is piss poor in SWSH and a major problem) has to be way higher.
It's also double the framerate as SWSH.

It's pretty fucking obvious at this point that Game Freak doesn't give a singular fuck about graphical fidelity, so I'm not sure why people still feel the need to complain about it. If you want something like Pokken or New Snap then you're clearly not going to get it from Game Freak. Play something that meets your standards or accept the fact that graphics are low on the priority list.

The number 1 reason people starting nitpicking is because of the Dex cut.
Masuda specifically said it was due to the quality and fidelity of the models and animations, which as anyone with eyes can see are all the exact same with little to no edits.

Final Fantasy X looks better than Sword/Shield and that game had the exact same design for the world.

>each area has completely fixed camera angles so the devs have full control over what the player is even allowed to see
