Anybody who thinks a Pokemon with 150 base speed, 175 special attack and a good attacking movepool gaining access to Nasty Plot isn't broken is mentally challenged and obviously doesn't play any format in the first place. This thread is embarrassing. Zeraora could get access to Bolt Beak and Fishious Rend at the same time and the morons on this board would complain that it got banned.

Might as well allow Deoxys-Attack in OU. Or Zacian-Crowned, you can outspeed it with a scarf and it gets walled by Quagsire.

Which is extremely easy with the move Teleport and the fact that it has 175 SpA and 150 Spe.
It’s very easy to just Teleport Alakazam into a favorable match-up to get a free Nasty Plot as they switch out.

More like it doesn't work at all, any player with common sense would do 2 out of 3 things that are safe when facing some form of revenge killing vs Zam
1)Make sure to cover your bets and use psychic terrain (and given the fact that MegaZam effectively has Expanding force which is on par with a z-move at +2, lelezam was a competent core during the short minutes zam was in the tier) to make sure priority can't hit you
2)Switch out of danger

The mons that use pursuit would get obliterated instantly or
3)Outplay sucker punchers

MegaZam was pretty fucking brainless and 6-0'd more teams than just stall (a teamstyle that hardly exists because Dracovish and Melmetal invalidates them)

I agree with the ban, making Nasty Plot a TM was a mistake.
Now if they only ban Dracovish, it's getting ridiculous how warping Dracovish is on the meta and like in OU it's just going to make shit worse when you introduce something like Urshifu-Single or the buffed Tapus.

Dracovish is hardly a ban-worthy threat in NatDex because there's a lot of shit that outspeeds and removes it from the board, and Dracovish is usually seen in Rain only, a teamstyle that hasn't been so hot.

Dracovish was dropped on rain teams for Manaphy and the Jolly set is most dangerous as a late game cleaner. We're seeing teams run multiple fat water resists so they have insurance they don't lose to Dracovish. It's insane.

None of those water resists are good checks to these.
>Ash-Gren: beats Slowbro, Tangrowth, Ferrothorn, can beat Pex

>Megagross: beats everything with the proper coverage move

Tapu Fini is the only mon that can take on all of those at once, including the special attackers. But Fini doesn't have reliable recovery and so is easily worn down.

Jolly Dracovish also beats Ash-Gren, Darmanitan-G and Mega Metagross 1v1. But it's been struggling to make an impact as more teams run 2+ water resists to deal with it.

Metagross fixes the 4MSS issue by carrying a coverage move for what Ash-Greninja can't kill by itself. Usually Thunder Punch.
It prefers to spam Meteor Mash though because it can muscle past most things at +1.
