>>43931319Let's be super fucking honest. The Pokemon roster would have VERY little to do with Canada.
Alola has a handful of explicitly Hawaiian mons, several that represent generic invasive species you'd find on any island (cats, roaches, rats, mosquitoes, crown of thorns starfish), several that represent generic environmental hazards (eg oil spills), a shitload of generically "tropical" Pokemon (orangutans, koalas, lemurs, orchid mantids), and many more that they created solely to populate a biome they decided they needed (arctic foxes in the mountains, clydesdales on an arid island, candy-meteors at an observatory)
The same's true of Galar. You've got a Gene Simmons badger, a generically English teacup, one that represents British Imperialism (Copperajah), a comorant because of the Fens, a generic red fox because kitsune didn't make sense (but they have Vulpix there again anyway) then you've got fucking sand cobras because they decided they needed a desert biome and yeti-Darmanitans and tapdancing Mr. Mimes(???) because they needed a snow biome.
Unova has aliens because Area 51, but also an Egyptian mummy, the Nazca Lines, and a Japanese daruma doll that turns into an orangutan.
A Canada region might have a moose, a new type of Ursaring, and some Canada geese, but beyond that I wouldn't expect much more explicitly Canadian mons.
