An object that is otherwise the exact same as another object, but just really small, still isn't "the same object but smaller". It's significantly different, however it may look.
The reason you hear facts about ants being able to lift things many times their weight or fleas jumping hundreds of times farther than a human could, isn't a statement on THEM. It's a statement on how the world works for objects that small.
Insects grown to the size of a lion, first of all would need to be completely re-designed from the ground up in order to not immediately die merely from being a different size now. And second of all, they'd have strength more or less comparable to a lion. Research the Square Cube Law, it dictates a lot about nature and sheds light on a great deal of things.
