>>43936424Dude, LGPE actually REDEEMED Kanto for me by making several Pokemon that were once exclusive to gifts readily available in the wild, changing up the level curve and trainer rosters (including Gym Leaders), and giving us a lot of QOL features. Johto is one of the worst games when it comes to AI and boss battles; we never had a proper Johto game before. I want to see Falkner use stuff other than Pidgey and Pidgeotto, Bugsy use stuff other than three Pokemon, Whitney use actual Normal-types (meaning bye bye Clefairy), Morty use Ghost-types (such as the regional forms), etc. However, with that in mind, these games i feel need to be changed up slightly and include stuff such as Johtonian regional forms of certain types (like Ghost, Steel, Dragon, Fairy, etc.) to make up for the relative lack of them. Morty would be a chore to clear as all of his Pokemon are just the Gastly line (even if you get Misdreavus and somehow Alolan Marowak and Galarian Corsola in there, he has a pretty boring gym). If I were director, I'd introduce some Johtonian forms so people would not only buy the game, but it would actually add to the existing games. Even if LGJ doesn't add anything, they would still be better than GSC for me.
