I browse several other boards alongside /vp/ and I've noticed that /vp/ anons are typically more likely to respond to bait posts. Ignoring bait is the best way to handle it, don't bother arguing with them. The amount of replies the "fanfic meta" posts get is embarrassing considering how blatantly obvious what the intention is behind those posts
