I wouldn't necessarily call them groundbreaking but they're nice little promotional shorts that give insight on different characters. I wish that they were longer and had more episodes so more characters could get a proper spotlight, but oh well.

They're cute, but some lack substance. The first two were great, but Nessa and Hop's episodes were just bland, meaningless stories that didn't give us new insights into the character.

Would love a full on series like this. Like 20-25 minute episodes one for each leader/character. I feel like it is a lived in world when I watch these and makes me want to pick up the game to okay again, but the anime itself is boring and cookie cutter, hardly feels like Pokémon and could be any of a dozen other things.TW at the very least you see how life would be different in this magical world of Pokémon.

I love them, really cute. World building and character expansion is what this generation could do with. Love all the characters even more after seeing them. Except Rose, he feels more like the guy who says the right words but is insincere about it, when’s he going to make good on the sick kid’s wishes? Forgets Bede’s name and already forgotten about John. Oleana’s got more heart than him.

I actually really don't like them at all. The animation style is the best part and I will say, it's really nice.

But the stories are absolutely hilariously bad. But it's pokemon, so I can't really be upset, lmao.

This too. I prefer Japanese voices with eng subs over a dub, the American accents always feel off and stilted.
Tbh even if they did get the eng accents I’d still stick with subs anyway, some stuff is lost in the dub translation and the tone of their dialogue can be much different.
