does anybody else just not like pikachu and eevee? like, i understand theyre the mascots but its probably cuz they shove it down our throats and such

Pikachu will always be a fave, but I'm not a fan of Eevee. Every single one of its evolutions is way better than it. And to top it off the Switch games gave it its obnoxious squeaky anime voice, which was cute when they did it with Pikachu but not with Eevee that literally SCREECHES like a child.

I"m ok with Pikachu but Eevee is kinda fallen from grace for me. The fact that Eevee gets the special treatment forms annoys me because Eevee is supposed to be the evolution Pokemon

That said pikachu and Eevee are still good designs even if they are shoved down our throats. I prefer Pikachu over Eevee but I still like Umb/Esp better than both of them.

Eevee and pikachu are heckin cute. Beyond that, I am still very fond of my competitive meme pikachu and the bullshittery I got away with. I understand why people wouldn't like them, but I'd assume that hatred either stems from oversaturation or the sheer amount of shitty porn.

I dislike Charizard a lot more than Pikachu or Eevee since I didn't really like the Charmander line to begin with whereas at least Raichu and the Eeveelutions gave me some run-off appreciation for Pikachu and Eevee.

Personally I don't think Pikachu's shilling as of recent has actually become more toned back, although maybe that's just because of how much more abhorrent Charizard's has become. Eevee is just kinda whatever, I'd certainly like other Pokemon to get some attention every once in a while like how Kingler got some attention with its G-Max form (even though the thing is ugly as fuck).

Ash's Pikachu is no longer fun to watch in the anime anymore, they reuse the same ugly Thunderbolt animation in every episode now as of SM. OS Pikachu made really cute sounds that modern Pikachu doesn't do anymore.

Ash's Pikachu also lost its charm when it stopped being sassy, and when it was confirmed as a "he" thanks to the retarded gen 4 gender difference retcons. Pikachu is just a total goody two shoes that takes a backseat to literal who CotDs and fake friends that Ash will drop after leaving a region despite spending several episodes with.

I can maybe understand Pikachu, but I could never get tired of Eevee and the gang. While Pikachu was always the de-facto mascot of the series, Eevee to me was always the representative of what Pokemon was about. Extreme Evoboost is easily my favorite of the Z-Moves, and GMax Eevee is the closest this franchise is probably ever going to get to giving Eevee a normal-type evo.

I can't really complain about it getting shilled either, since I missed the previous round of lifesize Eeveelution merch a while back, so I'm waiting for it to come back around to try and get it for a reasonable price.

I love Eevee's evolutions but I'm lukewarm on Eevee itself. The Pikachu family is ok. I understand why you'd be tired of both of them but the Charizard pandering is way worse in my opinion.
