But charging $30 for almost nothing, except for 6 new mons and a couple QoL updates is ridiculous. They don't expand the story in the same way as a third version, and a third version would have the same sort of updates, and usually a better postgame. The DLC is the postgame we should've had already. The DLC on top of a $60 game is already more expensive than a third version, not by much, but we might get more mediocre DLC.
Swish isn't any better than the cheaper handheld games and cut a ton of content to resell to us as DLC. If there are more DLCs, the total cost could be $120, versus the $80 the handheld main version and third version would cost.
Plus the DLC has to be purchased separately for both Sword and Shield.
