When he could spam priority Brave Birds with a CB, or priority Acrobatics with no item, sure, he was pretty good.
But Acrobatics are no longer an option because he's required to run boots to be useful. And same goes for any attack-boosting items.
Also, no more priority Roost.
Sadly, Talonflame will never return to his gen 6 glory.
