I'm leaning towards DP being just a remaster though and Johto being Let's Go remakes. It also explains why after Crown Tundra we're going to have the vast majority of Gen 5 and after back in, but 2-4 and even Gen 1, are still missing a lot.

You couldn't get access to this unless you live in Japan or went to one of the 5 locations they had available in your country. It's way worse than paid content, at least that's easily accessible. I guarantee most of the people raving about these and the DP events either hacked them in or watched them on youtube.
