>>43947310It's pretty close to being the most barebones Pokemon experience I can think of. No dungeons, the routes (of which there are ten) are extremely sparse, you don't even really interact with the evil team until the final confrontation (which is just an elevator ride to a couple of boss fights), and the only thing included to replace all of this stuff is what basically amounts to a Safari Zone that has only slightly more content than the one in Gen 1. The only nice things I have to say about it are that the music and character designs are both really good, but those aren't even close to enough to make up for the game itself being so shitty.
To be fair, I've heard that the content added in the DLC is a bit better than what's in the normal campaign. I don't know how expansive the Isle of Armor itself is, but even if it's substantial, at that point you're paying $90 for a game that I still wouldn't pay the regular $60 for. I think
>>43948467 has the right idea, the full package sounds like it's worth maybe 30 bucks.
>>43948087I honestly have no idea how anyone could be entertained by Max Raids for more than a couple hours without, like you said, being extremely deep into the autism spectrum. They're just battles against a single strong Pokemon, over and over, forever, with no real variety. It's a neat idea, but in no way does it constitute a complete post-game.
