Totally agreed. I love how monstrous he looks crawling around in that original beta sprite, and the Gen 2 sprites we got were awesome too with how bulky and mean he was. Definitely emblematic of how soft and watered down the franchise became.

Although I guess Tyrantrum captures some of that spirit.

I used to really like this pokemon as a kid, and it was my favorite but with each successive gen they've just made it look worse and worse aside from HGSS. I'm pissed.
