You know what? I liked Mega Evolution.
I think that, out of all the battle gimmicks the series has had, it works.
It breathes new life into Pokemon that have been around for a while, some being ones that aren't used in competitive play often like Medicham and Kangaskhan.
The lore behind it was interesting and had potential, and I think that they could have developed a unique story in a following generation with more details, like explaining the harms on some Pokemon when using Mega Evolution like some Pokedex bios state.
I don't think we should rule out new Megas coming. They're still relevant, being used in Let's Go, Masters, and now Go. What do you guys think? This is just my opinion.
