It passed the level of surreal parody to just cosmic idiocy and now no one can enjoy anything cuz both legendaries and more gen 5 mon are back to fucking ruin everything for everyone.
This isn't even saying anything on the actual game and animations themselves, which they also abused the dex cut as an excuse for and lied about working on.
It's just a fucking mess, i hope Masuda quits soon and whoever takes the role of president of Game Freak at least redoes this shit properly.

Here's even an example of a fan made model of chikorita in the dex that's functional as well
It's really not that difficult and these aren't game freak/creatures inc employees either
