They cut mons and content for nothing, no new graphics, no new good animations. As that anon said, it's mroe noticeable now with 3D, rather than 2D or on DS3. Yeah you could've been a kid or unexpert back in the GBA and DS era, so not noticing it at all, but this doesn't mean being hypocrite if you growing up accept and understand the graphics were bad too years ago.
