Poltergeist is overrated on Marowak.
At least with Shadow Bone(which was never a bad move) your teammates are free to run Knock Off on their movesets

Out of all physical ghosts honestly, Marowak, Decidueye, and Marshadow getting Poltergeist were the least exciting as they already had a decent STAB.

That's literally what these moves are doing. They're flat out ignoring the terrain bonus and adding their own separate bonus. That bonus is x2. They're not doing a 1.3x + 1.5x calculation. Its been extensively tested.

Do you want Tailwind extra speed control? If not then Politoad can use Perish Song as a finisher.
Basically, Pellipper for singles and Politoad for doubles. Both are kinda shit in 6v6

Access to Poltergeist lets it wallbreak efficiently and the combo with Steelworker Anchor Shot is really valuable: Allows him to stallbreak, and be better than before in the lower tiers.

Can you really name a better move?

Seed Bomb is 80 BP and Grassy terrain is always useful to have up to power up grass moves anyway.

No. Normal Zam is good but Mega Zam has 150 speed to outspeed the entire unboosted meta with. Unless its Focus Sash is still intact, normal Zam gets revenge killed by Dragapult no matter what.
