>>43971534>If you're unable to be objective in regards to who these games are actually designed forThese games are designed for children. Not retarded children who don't understand right from left, but children who can reasonably make inferences and learn given proper stimuli.
>If you're expecting the player to just "muscle their way through anyway" then what's the point of anythingHilarious how you completely failed to read my post, if you're not going to read the post, why bother even responding? The game throws so many grass and electric types at you by that point and gives you a decent grass move TM. A child should be easily able to figure out what to do. And, yes, if they don't want to use a grass or electric type, the Pokemon are weak enough to just muscle through, like you would do on a normal fucking playthrough of the actual game. That is, ironically, "finding the right balance of challenge while still empowering the player".
Tl;dr stop sucking nigger cock at a kid's game, since that phrase seems to make you so angry.
Also, your point to the other guy is hilarious - even with the changes the first anon proposed, it still wouldn't be more difficult than Misty, Totem Araquanid/Wishiwashi or Platinum Gardenia, because Nessa's Pokemon are, yes, just that weak in spite of the strategies used.
