How do Alolan regional variants work in Galar? I assume you can get most of them by breeding Alolan parents holding Everstones, but are Alolan Raichu, Alolan Exeggutor, and Alolan Marowak completely unobtainable? What about Kantonian Weezing and Kantonian Mr. Mime?

kanto mr.mime is an in game trade, alolans you get in the isle of armor from finding some guy's Diglett's and I think it's just weezing that needs to be transferred

Aurora Veil setter is all he's good at.
Slush Rush + Choice Band isn't useless but there are many, much better options.
Slush Rush + Swords Dance is basically the same.

The guy talking about Steel Roller has probably never seen a competitive battle outside of showderp.

Love the design and ice steel is a cool unique type, but it's just too useless. Sandslash should just get tough claws as HA since they're useless outside of weather and even in weather they're mediocre at best.

How does this sound? Not sure if wide lens would be better than choice items but it seems too slow even for scarf and triple axel is unreliable for band. I'd say this can land on RU or maybe UU.

Even if every other team uses a Tapu, that means that Sandslash is going to be completely useless in half of all battles. Even against the teams that do have a Tapu, what's it going to do? It can use one (1) attack before it goes back to being useless, and this is assuming it isn't just KO'd the turn it comes in. Do you think a Tapu Bulu is going to stay in when it expects an Iron Head or an Icicle Crash? Fuck no, he's switching to Corviknight. Now Corviknight is on the field and Sandslash is back to being useless.

Honestly, I don't think it's good unless you use it in Battle Spot Singles. You want to Dynamax with it and click the Max Ice attack to set your own Hail for it to sweep.

So I'd recommend Icicle Crash, Iron Head, Earthquake, Swords Dance with either a Life Orb or Weakness Policy.

Now it's just a worse Weavile but with high phys bulk plus steel that can be used in lower tiers.

It's not useful utility outside of some very niche scenarios and Sandslash requires a huge amount of support in order to (barely) function when you could just use a competent Pokemon instead. The only use I can see for Steel Roller is to maybe get a lucky crit against someone in low ladder who raw switches a Hawlucha into electric terrain for the unburden boost.

An attack you can only use once, and only when terrain is up, means it will never be useful.
