The number of pokemon allowed in your party is dictated by how many gym badges you have.
0 badges = 1 mon
1 badges = 2 mons
...
5+ badges = 6 mons

Remove or highlight ultra-specific evolution conditions. They're a cute idea and part of me doesn't want to remove whatever variety the games have, but I've never liked most of them and at this point there's a bunch of them.

-All trainers have the same number of pokemon as you and items
-Elite 4 and Champion have perfect competitive mons at least lvl 80+
-Bring back Mega Evolutions (and although I hate them, Z moves) and allow you to pick between which of the three gimmicks you want to run, don't introduce more, just make new megas and gmax forms
-Hand the development off to a studio that can make a better game than Game Freak can. Seriously, give Squeenix a hundred million dollars to license a truly amazing next generation pokemon game for Switch/PC and I will give you $30 per regional DLC and not give a fuck.

The level cap is one f the reasons I stopped playing Clover, not really fun when I have to dump my entire team and train 6 new guys just to beat Lil' Bro and then do the same thing when I have to fight that Carlito guy five minutes later. Level caps mean you bsaically can't be a Karenfag and use pokemon you like, you just use what you're "supposed" to use because that's the only shit that can beat those guys. If it weren't for the damn level cap you could just level up your guys until they learn a better move that can beat those fucks, but isntead you have to go WAY out of your way to get osme obscure conuter that only has a 1% rate of showing up and hope it has the right ability (I could not beat Carlito without a Wonder Guard Sprucifix, which I did not know was a thing until someone in the Clover thread told me that's how you beat him Carlito is bullshit) The game stops being fun and chill pretty much has soon as you beat Snoop Dawg.

I think it'd work fine if you could choose what you start with. You don't even need to see what your enemy Trainer has, just don't get stuck with some baby you were training if you get surprised by a real battle.
