I like the whole families of Electivire and Magmortar.
I hate how underutilized Magby and Elekid are through the games, only B2W2 really did them justice to actually let me use them early on.

I think Electabuzz is cooler, but Electivire is still pretty rad. I like it overall, gameplay-wise, but I wish it could learn Zing Zap. Wild Charge is kind of bad, recoil moves make it annoying to train ,you have to go back to the pokemon center every three battles, and Thunder Punch doesn't really do enough damage, despite being cool. At least it gets Thunder, but then I feel bad I'm not using its superior Attack stat. I also rather dislike that it;s a trade evolution, can't I just use the Electrizer on it like a stone? I'm also really sad it's not in gen8.

Elekid doesn't look much like Electabuzz either.
Like why does its head start out as a 2-prong but then change to antannae?
That's the thing with cross-gen evos, the design philosophy of a generation changes so they can sometimes look like they don't even belong together, like Tyrogue and the Hitmons (even Hitmontop who was introduced in the same Gen looks far off from Tyrogue).

The whole witch theme is layed down very thinly, literally can't even tell really, it's just a creepy crow pokemon, and it being partially retroactively changed to mob minions is fucking fine, Honchkrow is absolutely based and Murkrow is lucky to have gotten him added to the line
