My issue with that is you assume only Adult fans are picky idiots, if that's the case kids wouldn't have gotten into Pokemon back in the 90s, they would've just played literally any other monster game.

It's not about being picky it's that the app is not for you and TPC couldn't have fucking POSSIBLY made it any clearer. It's not another pokemon game it's an app that exists so parents can get their 3 year olds to brush their teeth.

I was joking when I made the greentext but I was also making a point. Kids are picky as hell. The young people may not know very many of the pokemon in Pokemon Smile since gen 1 was such a long time ago. The have started to become overshadowed by new ones. Yeah, genwunners are constantly pandered to but only select few pokemon are really used to pander to them if you think about it.
