Egg variation, by evolution line might be a bit much and kill mystery egg runs so by type of the basic/baby form would be a nice balance.

Yeah, I'd love AT LEAST to see the Togepi egg, or maybe a series of eggs based on the various baby mons like Elekid and Mantyke etc

Something like this but for breeding. They still give you the free default ball that breeding would normally generate (quick ball, for example), but you'd also get the option to give a ball of your choice (beast ball, etc) to the egg, at the cost of it taking one from your inventory. Like as a held item, probably. But it's like nature mints, in that they don't actually overwrite the default thing or whatever, so further breeding would still yield quick ball mons unless you repeatedly do the thing, if that makes sense.
Or maybe "ball shell" items would work better, with a little * or whatever next to the ball icon to indicate that it's not the default ball.

Also I vaguely remember a trading thing where several people offer up an egg and they all get shuffled between everyone. Can't remember which game it was, but that'd be neat to see again.

I'd like to be able to do something social with the pokemon. Like buying them clothes that they can wear during battle or some mini-games you can play with them again. I know they'd never do it, but something like the new Pokemon Cafe Mix game could have been really cool to put into a main line game that you could play with your mons for fun and friendship growth or something.

Maybe as a Camp Feature, but only if they can only be put on the Pokemon that earned them.

Since they've decided to keep character customization, an age slider would be nice. The ability to get trainer class clothes would be cool too.
