Breeding Kantonian Slowpoke w/ specific nature

So to my knowledge I need to have the kantomon hold an everstone to retain that form when it breeds, but I have a male non-galarian Slowpoke without the nature I want.

if it breeds with the everstone it still retains the nature it had before.

How the fuck do I get a kanto slowpoke with the nature I want?

Don't bother with natures. You can easily switch it with mints bought with BP. Also, if you have IoA you can pick up mints at shiny spots.
How does IV breeding work?
I've got two 6IV pokemon and one is holding a destiny knot. But the offspring keep hatching with 1 or 2 stats below "Best". What do? I managed to do it and get 6IV Scorbunny, but my Popplio just isn't inheriting good stats.

the knot takes the parents' 12 ivs and copies 5 of them, it doesn't matter which parent holds it

So the last IV is just a crap shoot?
If one parent holds a power lens will I be able to get 6 IV offspring?
It's frustrating that despite having purebred max stats parents, the offspring can still be a no-good stat goblino.

Just use bottle caps.
Why bother breeding something when you can just hack every aspect of your Pokémon to be perfect easily with mints, bottle caps, and soup
