He'd move to a forest full of alolan exeguttors in a fit of shame and chop down one of them to make a jacket to keep himself warm. A unovan darmanitan will pop out of the stump and tell him that it's wrong to chop down poke trees. He becomes friends with this darmanitan and eventually the rest of the wildlife. Mostly teddiursa and magikarp. He tries to sell the jacket he made, but nobody buys. A year passes and Leon shows up, commanding him to cut down the rest of the exeguttor to make more of his jackets. Hop gets into a fight with the darmanitan and asks a swablu if he's bad. The swablu chirps, and he thanks it. Hop then goes into a music number, changing into a green suit and a top hat singing about how bad he could possibly be while chopping down all the exeguttors. This makes the wild life sad, and all the teddiursa, magikarp, swablu and even the Darmanitan abandon their home.

Hop would kiss the MC, not the other way around. The MC can bully the shit out of Hop and make him feel bad constantly.

Hop, on the other hand, is desperate for the MC to like him because even with all the bullying he still considers the MC his best friend and the neighbor kid he's supposed to "watch over", even if s/he became the champion and doesn't actually need his protection in battle.

If the MC kissed Hop, of courss he's going to be really happy about it like >>43984803
Nobody else his relatively close to his age even remotely cares about him. Not even a throwaway NPC like Trace and Avery have.
