Gen 9 will be based on a japanese region again. because of coronavirus GF won't be able to leave the country any time soon so they won't be able to recon research in a foreign country this time.

Probably not, but Gen 9 going back to japan is highly likely unless GF decide to wing it without actually visiting spain/italy/etc to design the new region.

With the general cocksucking to China the whole market Is doing for the last few years, the fact that since SM (or XY i cant recall) games are finally available in Mandarin or whatever, China Is a strong possibility.
