I mean you can ask for a mansized version of a Power Wheels car that runs on gas but in the end you'd spend less time and stress buying a real car.
Kanto's the same, once you've experienced it there's not much more to do with it that could be done far better in a new game and the only reason why fellas like you feel entitled to an expanded adventure is either some keepupsmanship with Breath of the Wild for how it expands on new Hyrule or some overromanticized feeling about what Pokémon's experience was to with because the anime served as a supplement to Kanto's experience and just a straight up revisit alone wasn't enough to sate your thirst.
Most games are just about their own take of the Pokémon League with some antagonizing force in between. I fail to see what extra stuffing does to improve that.
