So how come Zacian and Zamazenta are the only ones that are not species? Those two are literally specific individuals and not species. There can be more than A Dialga, but not A Zamazenta since it's the name of the wolf that became a hero. Plus unlike other legendaries who are innately legendary, the two became legendary due to war so would they still be legendaries if the war never happened? GF seriously fucked up on their own world building.

they should've used the shiny colors as their regular colors. the shinies genuinely turn them from zeroes to heroes

Presumably there are others out there that didn't become heroes. The way Sonia talks about them, they were born naturally in a faraway region so there are likely more of their kind out there.

A similar wording is used for Cobalion and Keldeo, where there are more of their kind in existence but the ones you meet ingame are the specific individuals that became heroes.

So how come Leon was the only champion in his species??? You can have multiple bakers and doctors but not Leons since that's the name of the human that became champion. Plus, if he became champion by beating the gym challenge, what would have happened if he'd never won it? GF seriously fucked up on their own world building

Diancie is stated in Dex Entries to be a 'sudden mutation' of the commonplace Pokemon Carbink.

Also split evolutions exist. It isn't unfeasible to think that two Pokemon that occupy different dex numbers are related.
