Alright /vp/, hear me out. I know these are hard times for Pokemon fans but bear with me here.
What if Gamefreak decided to continue making the main series games with the same casual, watered down, kid friendly formula that they've adopted in recent times, but they make a Pokemon MMORPG that gives core fans everything they've ever wanted?
I'm talking about a big world to explore where you can truly catch em all, with all the best mechanics and features from throughout the series. High quality PvP, all regions available, and maybe even a new exclusive region created for the game. The level of your Pokemon would have a soft cap based on how many badges you have in your current region, so if you take a level 100 Pokemon to a new region, it's level would be synced to an appropriate level during non-PvP battles.
Would you be willing to forgive and support Gamefreak if they created a good Pokemon MMORPG?
>inb4 "lol it'll never happen"
