Is there any way this game doesn't immediately die on the mobile market? It has to compete with the literal number one played game in the world being released around the same time, in the same genre.
I understand that it's Pokemon, but how the fuck will it compete with Wild Rift?

It literally won't. Pokemon's gimmick is the catching and exploration, with battle mechanics on the side. No one is leaving their mobage of choice for this crap.

Absolutely the case, but how do they plan to compete with Wild Rift whos largest market is also China?
It's a win-win for Tencent either way, as they own Wild Rift and they'll get revenue from Unite, but I really see no way this won't end up an absolute loss for TPC.
