Even Sonic has occasional gems like Mania and the Boom cartoon.

The only two times Pokémon has had any soul in the last decade was when ORAS was announced and when Ash won the Alola League, and even those felt hollow.

Pokemon has just been the bare minimum competence since BW2. Soulless, boring cash grabs. I'll take Sonic over this any day.

Forces is kind of a bad example (to be fair I say this mostly because I'm mad at the failed nostalgia pandering, that Tails scene is a disaster) but I do genuinely like some moments. I like Infinite's design and some of his scenes are actually unexpectedly cool, the avatar is a great idea and I'm glad they finally brought back vocal songs.

Pokémon is literally the opposite to Sonic. Whatever Sonic Team does is considered shit by the normalfags while they consider everything Game Freak does perfect and untouchable. The only exceptions are BW (good but normalfags think it's shit) and Generations (shit but normalfags think it's good).
