Honestly with how they worded the blog post I wasn't even expecting a game of any sort, but just a minor "oh we're making a Diablo comic" or something said between announcements. They were really trying to emphasise that you shouldn't expect anything remotely major, unlike the Pokemon company which specifically called this a big project.
