Let’s be real here... ever since the Pokemon company made that huge library of 3D models, they’ve become so fucking lazy. If they never made the switch to a purely 3D franchise and stuck to beautiful pixel art, shit like Pokémon Unite would never be possible or at the very least, it would probably look so much better than it does now. I don’t hate Pokémon, but I hate what it’s become. I had such a fantastic experience with the franchise growing up. Sure, the games weren’t ever like high art or anything, but they had so much soul in them. I’m so sad that people growing up with it won’t be able to have that same soulful experience I did...
